5 Steps to Create Irresistible Offers

One of my favourite quotes by Steve Martin is ‘be so good they can’t ignore you’. I expect we all aim for this in our work.
However, as there are growing numbers of entrepreneurs and small businesses (there is a lot of choice out there!) I’m always thinking about what else will make offers and services even more irresistible to potential clients.

Irresistible offers will help you…

~ Stand out from the crowd. Rather than being bland you’ll be known for something special
~  Increase the likelihood of referrals as your offer will be remembered more easily
~ Speed up the response rate.  With a clearer message clients will self select more easily
~ Improve your confidence in marketing and attracting clients. When you step into and embrace more of who you are and what you offer, you’ll start to generate sales with less effort and more ease

Here are a few things on my checklist.

Step 1. In writing and speaking don’t be afraid to show your personality. It will attract those who resonate with your particular style and help others connect with you as an individual

Step 2. Package up your offer in a unique way which reflects your own tried and tested formula. It adds more credibility if you’ve figured out what has worked for you before offering it to others. Sharing your story might inspire others to take action.

Step 3. Provide a complete solution with all the information in one place. Even if you personally can’t deliver every element then may be you can help your clients access relevant resources or ‘done for you’ services, so they don’t have to chase around checking out suppliers

Step 4. Include unexpected extras. For example a quick start guide, a relevant book, articles, a small gift or sample, a Video/CD/audio

Step 5. Be known for exceptional and personal customer service, from start to finish. This means managing expectations and being available and responsive to your clients (within reason of course!).

Finally, create space for personal reflection and development to enable ideas, intuition and creativity to work its magic. Taking action is essential but needs to be balanced with allowing and receiving, otherwise it can turn into ‘off putting’ energies of overwhelm and exhaustion.

Is there anything you could change or enhance in your services to make then more irresistible? It may be something simple that attracts attention and gets you noticed.
