Have you heard of forest bathing?

Have you heard of forest bathing? It’s the practice of visiting woods for health benefits. Scientists have proven that it provides a range of physical and mental benefits.

A short visit can help lower heart rate, blood pressure, reduce stress, support hormone production, boost immunity and mood and improve overall feelings of wellbeing! Wow!

I’m not sure how it works but if you don’t have a wood or forest near by diffusing essential oils such as Siberian Fir or Cedarwood can help.

Siberian Fir essential oil has a refreshing, woody scent that is known for its relaxing properties.  It can help calm emotions and provides a grounding effect.

Cedarwood essential oil has a rich, warm and woody aroma which promotes relaxation and evokes feelings of wellbeing. I rub a drop on the bottom of my feet before I go to sleep.
